Saturday Afternoons and Summer Intensives
Spotlight Theatre Academy offers a variety of classes for students interested in all aspects of live performing arts.
Our regular Saturday afternoon program provides a rotating schedule of topics focused on theater, on camera, musical theater, voiceover, play and screenwriting, entertainment technology and much more.
Additionally, we produce evening classes, special sessions and workshops with working professionals covering a wide range of dance, theater and industry topics.
The Black Box Theater at Spotlight, a fully functional small performance space with professional lighting, sound and groundbreaking multi-camera live streaming is frequently used by our Academy students in end-of-session performances, staged readings and even full productions of theater and musicals.

2023-2024 Session 2 - Spotlight Theatre Academy Sat. March 9th - Sat. May 18th.(10 weeks)

Cost:$400.00.( $200.00 will be due March 1st, and the second installment of $200.00 will be due April 1st).
Classes are to be held at Spotlight Vermont in South Burlington, Vt.
Musical theatre is the exciting art form of bringing stories to life through music, words and movement. Students will learn vocal, acting and movement technique, stage direction and character work, while exploring material from Broadway shows.
This 10 week session will give students a chance to hone their singing and acting chops, while collaborating with other young performers, culminating in a final presentation.
Partial scholarships available.

Spotlight alumni Ellie Valastro (currently in the Broadway Tour of CATS) and Kerstin Anderson (Maria in the Broadway tour of Sound of Music and Laura Benanti’s alternate in Broadway’s My Fair Lady).
